Nigeria has condoled with the people and the government of Indonesia over the earthquake on Sundaynight that claimed at least 105 lives.
Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama, expressed the sympathy when the Indonesian Ambassador to Nigeria, Harry Purwanto, visited him in Abuja, the nation’s capital, on Tuesday.
“We extend our sympathy in this moment of pains to the people and the government of Indonesia, we wish you strength and fortitude at this hour of pains,” he added.
The 7.0-magnitude quake left at least 105 people dead and 236 others injured so far, while the Indonesian authorities evacuated more than 4,600 tourists from the three islands near Lombok.
