Shandong Linshang Huafei Nigeria Business Delegation's Inspection Tour Concludes Successfully in May 2025

On May 15, 2025, the Nigeria business delegation led by Shandong Linshang Huafei Supply Chain Management Co., Ltd. successfully concluded its inspection tour. Comprising entrepreneur representatives from Shandong and across China, the delegation focused on exploring Nigeria's market potential, industrial cooperation opportunities, and the development of Chinese-funded parks, paving the way for Shandong enterprises to "go global in clusters."

May 10: First Stop in Lagos

The delegation arrived in Lagos, Nigeria's economic hub, where it visited Huafei Overseas Warehouse, Lagos Huafei Exhibition & Sales Center, and Linyi Mall Nigeria Overseas Warehouse. The team studied the warehousing, logistics, and distribution models of Chinese goods in the African market. Members inquired in detail about Huafei Group's supply chain management, consumer preferences, and localized service experience, gathering data to analyze consumption needs and overseas expansion strategies.

May 11: Deep Dive into Mass Consumption Markets

The delegation explored traditional markets and local supermarkets in Lagos, investigating Nigeria's mass consumer market. By comparing product prices, categories, and distribution models, they found strong demand for cost-effective daily necessities, building materials, and home appliances, but noted that supply chain efficiency required urgent improvement. A representative from Linyi enterprises stated: "Linyi's strengths in commercial logistics align perfectly with Nigeria's market gaps. We can achieve mutual benefit by establishing cross-border supply chain platforms." Additionally, the delegation exchanged insights on local customs with merchants, accumulating experience for future product localization.

May 11: Focus on Building Materials and Plastic Products

The delegation 调研 (investigated) Lagos' building materials market and plastic product hubs. With Nigeria's accelerating urbanization, building materials demand grows at a high annual rate, but domestic production falls short, relying on imports. Take Linyi's plastic weaving industry as an example: its cost-effective products match Nigeria's agricultural and construction plastic needs. Through efficient logistics, the supply cycle can be shortened, reducing end-user prices.

May 12: Visit to Lekki Free Trade Zone

The delegation toured Lekki Free Trade Zone, visiting hardware processing plants and asphalt production enterprises, and held talks with zone management. The zone attracts foreign investment through a "closed-loop industrial chain" model, offering tax incentives and one-stop services, with over 50 Chinese and foreign enterprises currently settled. The team detailed surveyed factory labor costs, raw material supply, and production capacity. "Lekki Free Trade Zone serves as a 'springboard' for Shandong enterprises in West Africa. We should leverage the zone's policy dividends to promote the landing of advantageous industries like building materials and machinery, forming cluster effects," said a member.

May 13: Exploring Trade Opportunities in Specialty Goods

The delegation visited Lagos' sports goods market and "Morocco Market," identifying cooperation opportunities in specialty commodity trade. Local handicrafts, woodcarvings, and other crafts are popular among international tourists, while Linyi's sports goods industry can provide scaled supply. Both sides plan to promote cultural exchange between Qilu (Shandong) and African traditions through cross-border live-streaming sales and establishing exhibition centers.

Through intensive research and practical docking, the Shandong Linshang delegation laid a solid foundation for bilateral cooperation. Going forward, both parties will use this as a bond, relying on Linyi Mall's overseas warehouses and Nigeria's terminal networks to achieve efficient order fulfillment and expand exchanges and collaboration.
